DISCIPLESHIP CARE PROGRAMME
The Discipleship Care Team support New Believers in Christ to learn and understand the foundational doctrines and principles of the Christian faith and to develop their relationship with God. The Programme is renowned for its community atmosphere, creating opportunities to discuss the Word of God, ask questions and building lasting friendships. It has also been empowering for those who want to revisit foundational teachings, and those wanting to learn more on the different aspects of being a disciple of Christ.
The Discipleship Foundational Programme (DCP 1/2) is 12 weeks long and New Believers learn more about the key principles that aid their walk with the Lord in the following areas:
- Understanding Salvation (1 & 2)
- Who is God? & The Work of the Holy Spirit
- Submitting to the Will of God
- Victorious Living – having dominion over sin and the flesh
- Growing in God's Word
- The Practice of Prayer and Fasting
- Persevering for righteousness sake
- Repentance and Water Baptism
- Praise and Worship
- Holy Communion
- The Sacrifice of Giving

The Academy of Learning Training and Development Section deliver courses designed to equip our people in line with the God given vision, mission and values of Ruach City Church. The courses are delivered internally to enhance knowledge and skills required for advancing God’s Kingdom. Dates for these are advertised internally

- Men of Standard Empowerment Programme (for Men only): 10 weeks course

- Church Volunteers Training: quarterly
- Managing Yourself in times of Conflict: 7 weeks course

- The “Christ in Me” Mentoring Programme: 7 weeks course

The Potters Restoration Programme is aimed at supporting those who would like to renew and revive their relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. The sessions explore the themes of grace, overcoming fear, receiving forgiveness, God’s desires for you, decision making, faith and experiencing God’s Hands as the Potter molding and perfecting you.

Ruach City Bible Institute (RCBI) is the Education, Training & Development arm of Ruach City Church that provides a range of paid courses to anyone seeking to deepen their knowledge and understanding of the Scripture and of God. The courses are open for anyone to apply whether they worship at Ruach or attend any other Christian Fellowship.
We at RCBI are committed to serving the Body of Christ by developing Kingdom Disciples, servants and leaders of Jesus Christ who:
- Are filled with the Word of God
- Can earnestly contend for the Faith (Jude 1:3)
- Can rightly divide the Word of Truth (2 Timothy 2:15)
- Are equipped with the Sword of the Spirit to defend against the enemy’s attacks (Ephesians 6:10-18)
- Are willing to take up their positions as Labourers in the Lord’s Harvest (Matthew 9:37-38)
We desire to educate, equip, develop and nurture the growth of Christians in their Knowledge and Understanding of God’s Word, as well as encouraging the practical application of what is learnt to everyday lives and for the advancement of God’s kingdom.
Ruach City Bible Institute Courses (Available for anyone to apply):
- Certificate in Practical Theology (CPT): one-year course (weekly attendance)
- Fast Track Leadership Training (FT): one-year course (2/3 sessions monthly)
- Introduction to 5-Fold Ministry Gifts (FFMG): a modular course
- Homiletics and Hermeneutics: Basic Preaching Skills: 7-week course
